Anveshi Foundation: Serving the Underprivileged and Marginalized Communities in India During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Anveshi Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2019, dedicated to serving the needs of underprivileged and marginalized communities in India. With the Covid-19 pandemic affecting millions of people, especially those who are struggling to meet their basic needs, Anveshi Foundation has stepped up to provide essential services to those who are in need.
Food Distribution Program
To provide immediate relief to those in need, Anveshi Foundation has launched a food distribution program. Our team of volunteers has worked tirelessly to distribute food packets to the vulnerable sections of society, including migrant workers, daily wage laborers, homeless people, and slum dwellers. We have distributed 10 thousand food packets every day for five months on various locations, including hospitals, slum areas, and streets of Delhi, Chennai, and other parts of India.
Collaboration with Futurex Healthcare for PSA Oxygen Plants
In addition to our food distribution and sustainable livelihood programs, the Anveshi Foundation has collaborated with Futurex Healthcare to provide PSA oxygen plants to hospitals and charitable trusts during the pandemic. The Anveshi Foundation has set up more than 80 PSA oxygen plants across Indian hospitals to help alleviate the shortage of medical oxygen during the Covid-19 crisis.
Water Bodies Restoration Program
The removal of non-biodegradable and inorganic waste i.e., Plastic, Rubber, Cloth, Thermocol, E-waste etc. Organic & other wastes are segregated, processed as manures and recycled. The dustbin installations in local community and along-side path will curb waste disposal into the waterbodies.
